PR Returns to MOUZ, Completing the Roster Rebuild

MOUZ have announced the signing of Czech player Oldřich "PR" Nový from GamerLegion. The transfer closes the roster rebuild the German organization started back in April — and does it in trademark MOUZ fashion: PR is a product of the club's own academy, returning to the system he left a year and a half ago.

PR's road: academy — GamerLegion — the main roster

PR played for MOUZ NXT from July 2023 to January 2025, when he was transferred to GamerLegion. There the Czech gained genuine tier-1 experience, including appearances at the Budapest and Cologne Majors. By the end of last year his stock had risen high enough that a move away from GamerLegion was widely rumored — but this season has been uneven: a 1.05 average rating on LAN, down from 1.13 the year before. MOUZ evidently view the dip as temporary and expect a familiar system to bring his form back.

How MOUZ got here

The rebuild began in April with a double call: Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo were benched simultaneously. MOUZ played out the season with jL standing in at PGL Astana and the CS Asia Championships, then finished 12th–14th at the IEM Cologne Major — Brollan's final event with the team. Over the summer both benched players found new homes: Brollan joined HEROIC, Jimpphat moved to Aurora.

A bet on their own academy

The new MOUZ five: xertioN, torzsi, Spinx, xelex and PR, with sycrone as coach. MOUZ Chief of Business Development Jan Dominicus highlighted the club's signature trait: four of the five players plus the coach came through the organization's academy. "We initially came close to promoting him from our NXT team, but ultimately decided to bring in additional experience. Now, 18 months later, PR has proven he can compete at the highest level," he told HLTV.

When to watch the debut

PR's debut for the MOUZ main roster comes as early as next week, in the online stage of BLAST Bounty Season 2. In August the team heads to the Esports World Cup in Paris — the real test of how quickly the updated lineup clicks. Follow this and other roster moves in the esblitz transfer feed.
