How this ranking is built
The rating comes from HLTV and is a raw leaderboard: every player who cleared the minimum number of maps in the window is in it, with no filter for how strong his team is. That is deliberate on our side. A filter by team rank would quietly hide exactly the people this page is useful for.
So yes, you will find names from teams you have never heard of sitting above people you watch every weekend. That is not an error in the data. A player farming a weaker region puts up numbers a top-tier rifler cannot, because the opposition is different, and the rating does not adjust for that. Read the column as "who is putting up numbers right now", not as "who is the best".
Two windows are available above, and they answer different questions: the short one shows current form, the longer one filters out a hot month. Settings and gear of everyone here are in the pro database, and team standings are in the world ranking.
