IEM Cologne 2026 Major is the flagship CS2 event of the season, running June 5–22, 2026 at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. 24 teams from every region battle for $1,250,000 and the title of world's best team. The tournament is now in its active phase.
Major Format
IEM Cologne 2026 runs across three stages:
- Challenger Stage (June 5–9) — 16 teams in Swiss format, top 8 advance to Legends Stage
- Legends Stage (June 10–15) — 8 Champions + 8 direct invites, Swiss again, top 8 reach playoffs
- Champions Stage (June 17–22) — quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand final before a packed arena
Main Favorites
Team Spirit — defending Paris Major champions, dominant in the CIS region. Team Vitality with ZywOo in his best form of the season remain the top European contender. FaZe Clan, after a roster overhaul, are inconsistent but explosive when they click.
