Valorant Pro Mouse Settings: Top 10 Models

We keep a settings database of 651 Valorant pros and, on the August 20, 2026 snapshot, counted the thing reviews never tell you: what these players actually use. 625 of them have a mouse listed — 122 different models. And the very first number breaks the habit carried over from CS2: in Valorant, Razer rules, not Logitech.

Top 10 mice among Valorant pros

Colour variants of the same model are merged — the black and white Viper V4 Pro is one mouse. Share is calculated from the 625 players with a listed mouse.

Two Razer models take almost a third of the base. And the newer V4 Pro has already passed the V3 Pro — 105 to 87 — so the generation swap ran through the pro scene fast.

Razer vs Logitech: Valorant flips the CS2 picture

By brand it looks like this: Razer 294 players, Logitech 159, then Pulsar (45), Lamzu (43), ZOWIE (17), VAXEE (14) and WLMouse (12).

Our CS2 database, with 835 players who list a mouse, is the mirror image: Logitech 326, Razer 278, and ZOWIE a strong third at 123 players — a brand that barely exists in Valorant. There is no single "esports mouse": the two tactical shooter scenes split on hardware.

The models tell the same story. CS2's number one is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 with 160 players; in Valorant the same mouse is only third with 49.

DPI and eDPI: Valorant is played three times slower

The median eDPI in our Valorant base is 232; in CS2 it is 800. That 3.4× gap almost matches the engine difference: one sensitivity unit turns the camera 0.07 degrees in Valorant against 0.022 in CS2, a conversion factor of 3.18.

In other words, pros do not pick a sensitivity by feel for each game — they keep roughly the same physical aim speed in centimetres per 360, and the engine creates the difference in numbers. Moving your own sensitivity? Don't guess, run it through the CS2 → Valorant converter.

DPI itself sits higher than in CS2. In Valorant: 800 DPI on 342 players, 1600 on 209, 400 on just 81. In CS2, 400 and 800 are neck and neck (415 and 409) while 1600 appears on only 44 setups.

Polling rate: a quarter of the scene is past 1000 Hz

The standard 1000 Hz covers 397 players. But 164 of them — 26% of the base — already run 4000 Hz or higher, and 36 sit at 8000 Hz. For comparison, in CS2 only 152 of 835 players are at 4000+, or 18%.
