HEROIC Claim First Trophy with Brollan: 3:0 over K27 at Stake Ranked

On July 18 the new-look HEROIC won Stake Ranked Episode 3 in Barcelona, sweeping K27 in the grand final — 3:0 (Nuke 13:9, Mirage 13:11, Dust2 13:11) in the best-of-five. It is the first tournament and immediately the first title for the roster assembled on July 7: one week of practice — and a trophy.

The road to the title

In the upper bracket semifinal HEROIC took down Ninjas in Pyjamas — winners of the series' previous episode — 2:1 (Inferno 13:11, Nuke 13:9, Mirage 13:9) to advance straight to the grand final. K27 came through the lower bracket, where they eliminated 3DMAX 2:0 in a one-sided series — AWPer xeedo finished it with a 2.00 rating, but there was nothing left in the tank for the final against HEROIC.

The numbers

HEROIC's best player across the whole event was rifler nilo with a 1.19 average rating, while captain Chr1zN burned brightest in the final at 1.45. The title-winning lineup: Brollan, nilo, susp, MartinezSa, Chr1zN (IGL), with doto as coach. Stake Ranked Episode 3 was an eight-team LAN with double elimination and a $100,000 prize pool, $25,000 of which went to the champions.

What it means

For the club it's the first trophy in roughly 14 months — the previous one, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring, dates back to May 2025. For Brollan it's an instant answer to the doubters: in his first interview after leaving MOUZ he talked about six days of practice and a "rusty" game — a week later he lifted a cup. The next test is bigger: at BLAST Bounty Season 2 HEROIC picked The MongolZ as their opponent at the draft — the match is on July 24.
